St. Paul’s Hospital in Barcelona (L’Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau) designed by Domèch and Montaner was built between 1902 and 1930.
The complex consists of a main building and 27 pavilions. Numerous Catalan artists took part in the hospital’s construction: sculptors Eusebi Arnau and Pau Gargallo, painter and mosaicist Francesc Labarta, and blacksmith Josep Perpinyà.
In 1997, the hospital was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site
